Clarify the brand by leveraging its strengths

Yapril needed to implement measures to strengthen its brand identity with a view to further growth. They wanted to increase internal understanding of who they are and what graphic measures they could take to become an even stronger brand.

Photo: The value word “Energy” has been part of Yapril since its establishment in 2009 – and was an important source of inspiration in the work on adjusting the profile.
Approach
In the first phase, we spoke with selected customers to understand how Yapril was perceived in the market. They saw the company as a player that goes the extra mile and offers creative solutions. Green was consistently associated with Yapril, and it was important to build on this established identity while giving the profile a clearer direction and personality.
Previously, Yapril was an innovative rebel – now it is an experienced, creative partner. The name and core values still convey strength and change. A new color palette based on green, along with the circle from the logo, was used to express movement and development.
Brand Valley worked closely with designer Marianne Lydersen, copywriter John O’Reilly, and Yapril’s in-house designer. A brand training course was also held for employees to anchor the work and strengthen internal understanding of the brand.

Elements for visual identity
In the short term, the project has strengthened team spirit and internal understanding of the brand – important factors for long-term brand building. Customers have given positive feedback: Yapril’s identity is recognizable, while the company now appears with greater weight and impact.
